Even as Canada’s largest bank, with over 16 million customers, Royal Bank of Canada still considers itself a relationship bank first and foremost. Which is why they hold their Rewards program in such high regard, and looked to create a mobile app to improve the customer experience.

In late 2015, Senior VP’s across Rewards, Innovation and IT visited Plastic’s offices with a simple goal: raise awareness of the breadth and depth of the RBC rewards program by building a first-of-its-kind, standalone mobile app.

We worked with RBC internal teams to define and build the solution that lets customers with rewards credit cards easily see their points; seamlessly search and book flights, hotels and car rentals; shop Apple and Best Buy products; while getting relevant offers and product recommendations based on their interests.
